District of  DUNKIRK.

The District of DUNKIRK  counted 9 post offices from 1852 to 1876. Most of them were main post offices for a long time.
Only 2 were opened during this period :ESQUELBECQ and  BOLLEZEELE.
These two post offices are normally the most difficult to find.
Special mention to:
- the small figures cancel n° 4480 of ESQUELBECQ: Never seen! Post office opened in June 1862 and  end of the small figures cancels in December 1862.
- the date stamps "DUNKERQUE BOITE MOBILE": Only seen once!
- the date stamp of WORMHOUT with an error on the Department number (37 instead of 57).
